MarkCharlesBoots.com is fully committed to reducing the damage cause to the environment by inconsiderate business practices. We have put in place a number of simple steps to ensure that we are able to minimise our carbon footprint.

Recycling
All our packaging is made from at least 25% recycled material and we ensure that it comes from a renewable source.

Minimising Waste
We make a point of visiting the tanneries that supply our leather to ensure that they not only recycle their chemicals but that they also dispose of their waste responsibly.

The fact that we only use premium full-grain leather means that it has not been as heavily treated as many other types of leather. This results in less chemicals and energy being needed to produce it.

As a small independent company we cannot dictate how suppliers operate but we can decide whom we choose to do business with.

Co2 Emissions
Traditionally there has been an unfortunate correlation between economic growth and the damage caused to the environment. As an online retailer we do not own, operate or trade in traditional stores so we use less energy and do not require customers to travel to purchase our goods.

In addition to this, all our goods are shipped in bulk using the most reputable shipping companies in the world.
